An opportunity to explore this unique church and an exhibition of archaeological data of Ripon and surrounding parishes by Ripon Community Archaeology Project. Activities and displays will include artefacts and articles from the Newby Hall estate. A fun family quiz will help you explore this extravagantly decorated church of Christ the Consoler, cared for by The Churches Conservation Trust, which was built as a memorial to a son murdered by Brigands whilst travelling in Greece. Held in conjunction with the Ripon Community Archaeology Project who will provide a display of their studies of Ripon and surrounding parishes over the past eight years.
