About Us
Kevin Cale, Director
Community Archaeology Limited
Kev was born in Ripon and lived for many years in the Yorkshire Dales. Since graduating from Lancaster University in 1988 with an honours degree in Archaeology and History, he has provided 21 consecutive years of archaeological services across Yorkshire and since 1994 has been responsible for the birth and development of community archaeology in North Yorkshire.
Community Archaeology Ltd developed from his passion to involve the public and led to the unique approach of studying the past by guiding, motivating and encouraging people to draw together diverse threads of evidence in order to give relevance to everyday objects, places and landscapes.
